Attempted Abduction!

Today I had the scare of my life, a lady tried to take my baby.  I was shopping at Costco and Daniel was in his car seat which was attached to the cart.  As I leaned over to look at meat in the meat case, I realized my cart was rolling away.  I tossed the package of meat that was I was inspecting and went running after my cart exclaiming " Excuse Me".  An older lady was pulling my cart from behind her (the opposite end from where you push).  As I reached the cart and grabbed hold, I finally attracted her attention.  As she turned around, she realized the mistake that she had made.  I, on the other hand, had a death grip on the cart and at this point was boring holes through her with my eyes.  The other lady immediately began apologizing, now that she realized what she had done.  She commented on how beautiful Daniel was but that she didn't want another baby.  She then admitted she had a daughter my age who recently had a baby as well and she severely apologized for the panic she caused me.  The other lady hugged me and repeatedly apologized for having taken my cart by mistake.  I think that she was afraid that if she didn't stand there talking to me for the next few minutes that I would have called the police or something.  I am able to grin when I think of this incident now, however at the time it was not so funny.  No harm was done; I am just more overly cautious now.
