Happy Birthday My 3 year old

This week my baby girl turned 3years old and I am such a proud parent.  I am glad to see her growing up and maturing, but I will also miss my baby.  Laci has done so much changing over the last 3 years that I can hardly believe it.  Born a preemie, weighting 5lbs 13oz  18 3/4 inches, Laci is now 34lbs and 36 1/2 inches tall.  Laci speaks in full sentences, she is a great helper, she can count to 20 in English, she can count to 10 in Spanish and french.  Laci knows all of her colors, she knows all of her basic shapes, she recognizes all of the alphabet letters and the numbers from 1-10.  Laci loves to sing and she has several songs committed to memory.  Laci has definite opinions that she is not afraid to let you know about.  Laci's current favorite television show is "Make Way For Noddy", she also enjoys  "Pinky Dinky Doo", "Wonder Pets" and "Jay Jay the Jet Plane" along with the occasional "Blue's Room" and "Bob the Builder".  Laci's ultimate favorite fall back toy is Winnie the Pooh, however she does snuggle with other toys but Pooh still has to be there too.  Currently her snuggle buddies are a small pink teddy bear that she has named "Tubby Bear"(a character from Make Way For Noddy") and a Lion that Laci calls "Kitty" which actually has a computer monitor cloth for it's belly.  Laci's favorite food group is fruits, all types of fruit, but her current favorite is grapes.  Laci's favorite lunch is bologna and cheese lunchables, her favorite dinner is a Kid Cuisine TV dinner that has fish sticks (or Fish Steaks as Laci calls them), Mac-n-cheese and corn, she cleans her plate with out hesitation when that is placed in front of her.  Laci's current favorite color is blue and her favorite music artist is Laurie Berkner.  Laci's favorite toys are balloons and bouncy balls.  I believe that we finally have a handle on her attitude issue and all is well again.  I love my big girl so very much yet it is sad to see the baby in her slipping away.
