Laci says....

Sometimes Laci cracks us up with the cute things that she says. The other day Laci said to me "Mommy can I have a tissue, my nose is leaking out". I had to laugh out loud because although I completely understood what she needed, I had never in my life heard it put into those words. Then today while at the doctors office even the doctor found the humor in Laci's explanation. As we were waiting in the doctors office the nurse did an initial exam of Laci, which included swabbing her throat (the reason why we were there). The nurse told Laci to "say AAHH" and as Laci complied the nurse unexpectedly did the throat swab. Laci was not at all pleased with this surprise, she showed her disgust but she did not say a word. So later when the doctor came in and was doing her own exam, she too asked Laci to "say AAHH". Laci still vividly remembering her last experience with saying AAHH, replied to the doctor "No Thank You, the other lady already looked in there" as Laci leaned as far back away from the doctor as she could. It was very funny although not to Laci of course.
